Sunshine

I admit it. After years of getting annoyed at people who would live here their whole lives and still complain about winter, I'm finally joining them. I am in desperate need of sunshine and warm weather. I feel crabby, mean, large, cooped up, and I still have two and a half months to go! But regardless of how I feel, these make me smile and while I'll never be a professional, I think they are cute! I used a "sunshine" action that I found online on a few of these and they really do make me feel better.

Why, you may be wondering, are there no pictures of Taiter? Well...

Ahhhh. Praise the Lord for the sunshine in my life.

Well I hate to break it to ya, but i don't think the warmer weather is going to help how you feel THAT much! Maybe sometime in June, cause then she'll be out! =]

I LOVE the first one and the third one, good job on these!

You guys have a whole society of extended family shutterbugs over there! The pictures are lovely, the first 3 are my favs. I adore the monkey pjs...really really really!

Thanks for the hot tip, Im off to google 'sunshine action'...I didnt even know about action sets till last month. I gotta do a photoshop course! And you should scout around for a DSLR, you've got skills!

Your sunshine must be on its way cos its sure not hanging around on this side of the earth. Just go to Ross... it always made me feel better. :S

Why is it that there are no pregger pictures of you? Only 2 1/2 to go and NOTHING. Terah either....whats up with that. Your boys are adorable. I love the last one...how typical! I never post pictures because usually that is all I have.

Shelby- I know I know, pregnant is pregnant no matter what the weather is like. I also know that warmer weather is only bound to make me miserable in a different way. But sunshine...I guess I'm getting it today at least! Looks nice out there.

Karina- It's so true, shopping *always* makes me feel better. I'm horrible. It's kind of my hobby, especially when it comes to my kids. Fortunately for Jay, I *rarely* pay full price for anything.

Jay's sister made the monkey pjs for Rowan's birthday. Adam got excavator pjs. I think they are stinkin' cute myself.

I can save you a little trouble. I actually got the "sunshine" action off of thepioneerwoman.com. It is on her second set of actions. There are few really neat ones in this set. I still need practice but as I bought Terah's old camera, with a little help, my pics are bound to improve.

Also, thanks! You are such a sweet and complimentary person.

Shea-
Alright! I *promise* to post pictures of myself in the near future. I may have Terah do some maternity shots for me but NO BARE BELLY! For one my husband thinks those pics are horrible and immodest(he doesn't even like me to do bun pics of the babies!ugh.)and two, I have stretch marks. No Photoshop junkie wants to edit these babies out, trust me.

Just keep in mind, I am a much larger "self" than you may remember.=)

Hey, I checked out The Pioneer Woman's website...there's a heap of great stuff on there. Thanks for sharing! I ran some photos through a couple of actions sets and it was cool. Im so glad you've got DSLR power now...I've always liked your composition and its so nice that you can lens swap or go shooting with fam & friends. Fun!

*sigh* @ shopping. I tend to get very over-enthusiastic whenever Im given even a miniscule amount of praise. I remember sitting down to dinner once...Jack did his 'this is so good, isnt your mother the best cook in the world?' thing. I did the mandatory 'blush and deflect praise', before commenting that this meat & 5 veg meal for the whole family cost under $7. Jack was so impressed he gave a long oratory on my housewifery skills. My inner-cheapskate was unleashed and a chronic bargain hunter was born. Although I confess I have always had shopaholic tendencies...:S

If I only knew *something* about cameras. =) I wouldn't even know where to start as far as a lens goes. IN fact I've barely used it because I need Terah to show me how!
